Q & A with Hailey Baldwin

1. What are your favourite pieces in the Tommy Icons capsule collection and why?
I love the snow-white-coloured fisherman sweater with the statement Tommy crest. It’s one of my favourite looks from the brand’s archives, with the gold and cabernet details adding an elevated twist. It’s perfect to keep warm on chilly evenings. The cropped hoodie is a wardrobe essential to combine with high-waist jeans for a cool, tomboy look.

2. Can you name us three fashion essentials you can’t live without?
Whatever I wear always has to be comfortable. A cosy sweater, black jeans and an oversized bomber jacket are my essentials. I also love to mix and stack lots of gold jewellery together to add a cool edge to a more relaxed outfit.

3. Who inspires you and why?
I look up to both my parents [Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Deodato], to my entire family in fact. I don’t think I’d be the person I am today without their continued support.

4. What is your first memory of Tommy Hilfiger?
My first memory with Tommy was walking in the show in New York. It was my first fashion show for New York Fashion Week. I’ll never forget that!

1. What are your favourite pieces in the Tommy Icons capsule collection and why?
I love the his-for-hers Oxford shirt. It’s sexy but relaxed and feels like I could wear it during the day and out with my friends.

2. What are the fashion essentials you can’t live without?
A great pair of heels and gold jewellery. I love timeless pieces that you can wear every season because they never go out of style.

3. Who inspires you and why?
My mum is a huge inspiration to me. Growing up, she always encouraged me to chase my dreams and never stopped believing in me.

4. What is your first memory of Tommy Hilfiger?
My mum used to force me to wear turtlenecks all winter long which I hated, and I only ever enjoyed it when I got to wear my Tommy Hilfiger turtlenecks. They made being warm in the Canadian winters cool.
