Past and Present: Azza Fahmy Branches Out Into Clothing
July 11, 2025 Maya Khoury

Did you know that the Egyptian jeweller Azza Fahmy has collaborated with the textile-loving Lebanese homeware and furniture creator Bokja? It makes sense on many levels, not least for the fact that both brands share a deep-rooted passion for cultural preservation: Azza Fahmy transforms Egypt’s rich history into wearable art, and Bokja breathes life into heritage fabrics, weaving narratives through intricate design.

But this linkup is also a key moment for Azza Fahmy, as it expands her design vision beyond jewellery for the first time and into a new realm of artistic expression. Each piece in the collection is a fusion of diverse design inspirations, seamlessly blending intricate details into a harmonious whole. As Fahmy explains, “This collection invites individuals to connect with history, embracing the essence of Egyptian artistry in everyday wear.”

The Azza Fahmy x Bokja capsule pieces are available in London, at Azza Fahmy’s store in Burlington Arcade, as well as in Cairo at the Grand Egyptian Museum, but you can just as easily find them online at azzafahmy.com.
