Net-a-Porter has just unveiled the Colombian Collective, a piping-hot curated selection by creative talent from the South American country.
Whether you’re planning a sun-soaked winter getaway or just want to get ahead on what you’ll be wearing on the beach in a few months, Net-a-Porter has you covered with a muy caliente collection of limited-edition pieces that will make you feel like you’re shopping in Cartagena. And it all happened serendipitously.
“Noticing that we were bringing on board a lot of Colombian designers, it seemed like the perfect timing to celebrate this collective of creatives,” Elizabeth von der Goltz, the e-tailer’s Global Buying Director, explained.
Pieces include colourfully embroidered Castañer espadrilles by Mercedes Salazar, tropical-inspired swimsuits by Verde Limon and floral printed pyjamas by The Lazy Poet. There’s also an ebulliant ammassment of RTW by some of Colombia’s most well-established designers like Esteban Cortazar and Johanna Ortiz.
