Keanu Reeves’s Arch Motorcycle Company Makes One of the World’s Coolest Bikes

Keanu Reeves's Arch Motorcycle Company

Arch Motorcycle Company is an LA-based boutique manufacturer that was co-founded by hard-core rider and actor Keanu Reeves along with chopper whiz Gard Hollinger. “Our partnership was forged around the first bike that Gard made with me,” says Reeves, referring to a custom build that Hollinger began making for him in 2007 and delivered four years later. That bike actually formed the basis of their debut machine, the 2015 KRGT-1 – a performance cruiser that could be ridden aggressively and also be comfortable for long distances.

Now, they’ve expanded their lineup with the Arch 1S (which shares much of its DNA with the KRGT-1 cruiser, including its big 2032cc American V-Twin engine but offers a more sporty focus), and the Method 143 (an even more exotic creation, shown above, which features a massive 2343cc V-twin, as well as a fully titanium exhaust, an Arch-developed Öhlins FRGT fork and shock covered in a carbon fibre airfoil, custom carbon wheels, a fuel tank and seat that blend seamlessly into one another, and a carbon fibre mono-cell chassis – a first for a production bike).
“Arch Motorcycle was founded on the idea of creating uniquely designed, performance driven motorcycles, each tailored to its owner,” says Hollinger. “Our owners aren’t interested in ‘normal’ things. They appreciate fine detail, exotic materials, and the no-compromise philosophy we adhere to. To further this pursuit we must always be pushing the boundaries to make our dreams a reality. The Method 143 is the result of us creating a dream motorcycle limited only by the number we will produce; just 23.”

Arch don’t like to talk prices given that each bike differs due to the fact they’re made specifically for their customers, but if you’re interested in a Method 143, you’d best be prepared to pay significantly more than the KRGT-1’s already high starting price of 78,000 USD. At the end of the day, good things never come cheap.
